This has gone out of fashion because people aren’t reading long form content as much as they want to. But the truth is, long-formcontent has a better chance of ranking higher on Google. There is plenty of research to show that the top-performing pieces arelong-format articles that have more than 3,000 words.
These pieces are likely to get three times more traffic, four times more shares and 3.5 times more backlinks than pieces that are about 900 to 1,200 words. The link between search performance and the length of the content is something to be taken very seriously.
So you might want to have at least a couple of these pieces that are well researched and have useful information told in conversational tone without technical parlance.
